A Writing Residency for Ivorian Women Writers
“What does resilience mean to you?” 1949, an Abidjan-based women-centred library and community centre, invites Ivorian women, resident in Côte D’Ivoire, to reflect on the theme of resilience in the form of a short story or a creative essay. Shortlisted writers will be awarded a 2-week fully-funded writing residency at 1949, publication in an anthology, and a 100,000 CFA honorarium.

The Atlas of Uncertainty exhibition is offering commissions worth $2,500 to visual artists based in Accra, Nairobi and Johannesburg who are interested in exploring gateway neighbourhoods in their respective cities. Project Funding for Nigerian Artists and Cultural Experts
The Goethe-Institut Nigeria is committed to supporting a wide range of projects created and implemented by Nigerian artists and initiatives in various art forms with grants up to €5,000 each.
