Attention, Authors!
Nigeria-based publishers Masobe Books are open to fiction and non-fiction submissions from new and established authors. Romance authors are particularly encouraged to submit.

Carefree Magazine is accepting pitches for personal narratives that speak firsthand to Black women’s experiences. Payment: $100.

Call for Tough Art
The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh invites artists worldwide to apply for a 3-month residency, the purpose of which is to create engaging and tough, interaction-proof artwork for exhibition. In addition to housing, selected artists will receive a $5,000 honorarium, a $3,500 materials budget and a $1,000 travel grant.

Dancers and Choreographers
The Pina Bausch Foundation invites professional dancers and choreographers from around the world and different dance traditions to apply for a one-year fellowship. The fellowship can be full-time or part-time and on-site, virtual, and hybrid options are available. There are no age restrictions.

Gutter Magazine Is Open
Gutter Magazine is open to poetry, fiction and essay submissions from emerging and established writers around the world. Payment: £30.

Musicians!
Applications are now open for the 2nd edition of CollaboNation, a collaboration portal for African musicians from diverse musical genres. CollaboNation will facilitate travel, physical meetings and shared studio time for the selected artists to create and record new, original and socially conscious songs. Artists will debut their work at a live performance at the 2024 MTN Bushfire Festival in Eswatini.

Submit to SICK Magazine
SICK Magazine welcomes creative work from writers and artists who are sick/chronically ill/mentally ill/disabled. Writing and artwork that think through the experience of illness and disability in new ways, or explores a topic that is framed by this experience are prioritised. Payment rates range from $100 to $345.

Theatre Makers
From the 1st to the 8th of September, 2024, the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre (CIFET) will host experimental theatre performances from all over the world. The festival will cover accommodation and local transport costs for up to 15 people per delegation.

Visual Artists and Fashion Designers
Saudi Arabia’s Intermix Residency Program is accepting applications from visual artists, fashion designers, and curators who wish to develop a production or research-based project highlighting innovation, transformation, and sustainability. Selected participants will receive round-trip airfare to and from Riyadh, accommodation and studio space, a monthly stipend, and other benefits.
